Chef Ken Kirchner is originally from Brooklyn and has been cooking for 30 years. Kirchner opened West End Pizza here on Islington Street in February 1999; however he has lived in Portsmouth since 1988. He brings a slice of the big apple by offering Portsmouth the thin crust New York style pizza, voted #1 people's choice as the best pie in town.
